Nicole is so excited to be working at the Great Plains Theatre in Abilene, KS for their production of "Rogers + Hammerstein's Cinderella" as the Fairy Godmother! The show runs from July 17th-27th. This show has been a dream come true and she's so blessed and grateful to be a part of it. Come on out and see the show!
About
Nicole Leis is a musical theatre performer hailing from Ansonia, OH. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2016 with a BFA in Vocal performance and a concentration in Theatre.
Nicole's passion for music started when she was four years old singing with her three older siblings in church. She grew up listening to the classic cassette tapes like Anastasia, The Land Before Time, and anything Disney. Ever since then her love and passion for music has only grown. Her first live musical she ever saw was Beauty and the Beast and she knew then that that's what she wanted to do.
Nicole has been performing professionally since she graduated college, working in regional theatres, performing in children museums, and touring around the states of Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee.
"There's nothing like live theatre. It's always different and new."
Nicole is so thankful to be able to make her living through the art of theatre. "This job is such a joy and it never feels like work!" She thanks God daily for His strength, love, and guidance through all things.
